NEW TOYS

Lilya loves her new bounce, bounce baby seat, but she's not quite big enough to bounce yet. It won't be long though!

Good news from the specialist

Well, we saw Dr. Bax this morning and got pretty good news. He said that she isn't doing anything that isn't normal reflux, and since she is gaining weight and her lungs sound good, they won't do anything other than put her back on Prilosec. She has already started to outgrow it, and here in a few months, she will most likely be free of any symptoms at all. We were very thankful to get such good news! She is up to 13 lbs and 6 oz., so she is definitely growing. We are looking forward to Santa's first visit. Can't wait to post some pictures from the big day. Merry Christmas to everyone!

First (of many) Christmas

Christmas Kisses! One of Lilya's best presents was this kiss from her Uncle John.

We celebrated Christmas with my dad yesterday. We went to church, and then back to the house for the day. It was so nice to spend the day with them since we don't see them very often. We took lots of family pictures in front of the Christmas tree. This is the first picture we have had of all four of us together.

Another Day!

Oh, the life of a baby! Today, I fed her some cereal, and then I put her in her duck towel before I gave her a bath.

I put her in her "worth the wait" shirt, and these pictures just say it all! She looks so different to me today!

Lilya is just starting to watch the t.v. Today she was really liking all of the football that was on.

Daddy had her standing up like a big girl. Her legs seem so strong!

A good nights sleep!

Last night we put Lilya in the bassinet to sleep (on her back) for the first time. She slept so good, and is now taking a nap (on her back) in the pack-n-play. I am so excited, and am thinking she might be getting over the choking thing. We are still seeing the specialist on the 23rd, but hopefully it will be all gone by then!

3 Months old today! (13 weeks)

I can't believe she holds her head up so good (and she can't believe I am taking more pictures of her)! I took these this morning before we left for a big day at school.
This is my favorite picture. She is getting so big, and loving playing on her belly!

I have a million and one pictures like this, but I love when she looks so deep in thought like this.

She has just started really focusing on her toys. She loves this little blanket that has a bunny attached to it. She has also started putting things in her mouth, so the bunny gets nice and soggy.
